Ryan Verrier

Ryan Verrier began his career as a second grade teacher in Mishicot at O.H. Schultz Elementary School. During his time in Mishicot, Mr. Verrier also coached cross country and track. After a few years, Mr. Verrier accepted a fourth grade teaching job in the Ashwaubenon School District where he taught at Valley View Elementary School for eight years. Mr. Verrier was responsible for teaching all core content areas, coordinated fourth grade field trips and participated in building leadership teams. In 2011, Mr. Verrier took his first principal job working in Green Bay at Kennedy Elementary School. 

He has been in the AASD since 2014 as Principal of Houdini Elementary School.

Katie Hardesty

From a young age, Katie Hardesty knew she was destined to work in education. Katie grew up in Greenfield, WI and attended the Whitnall School District. As a teenager, she began working at YMCA summer day camps starting as a camp counselor and spending her last summer there as assistant camp director. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and teaching license from Carroll College (now University). 

Katie began working in the Appleton Area School District in 2001 and has taught at Ferber Elementary, and Wilson and Einstein Middle Schools. She earned her Masters of Art degree from Marian College. Katie currently serves as the Associate Principal of both Ferber and Houdini Elementary Schools.  

Katie loves spending time with her family, running, traveling and reading.
